CFC179 - Dies Only, No Stamps!

Happy Friday crafty friends! Time for another CAS-ual Fridays Challenge over at the Challenge Blog!  I am currently away on summer vacation so my blog has been quiet over the last little while! Feels good to take a few minutes and give the blog some care!

Rainbows always make me happy, so I picked a few of my favourite coloured card stock and used the Thanks die from the CAS-ual Friday's Smiling Fri-Dies set. I die cut my paper with fun foam and StickIt on the back for dimension and to make placement easier on the background.  I used coordinating Distress Inks to give my card stock some depth and then placed my die cuts.

I felt it needed a little something more so I die cut a few of the 4-petal Fri-dies to add in a few places with coordinating sequins.  I then added some Nuvo Drops also in rainbow order.  As simple as that!

Baby gift tag with Lawn Fawn

Happy Thursday crafty friends! I begin my month of summer vacation at noon today and I am over the moon excited!  I will be away for 10-days which means limited posts from me here :( but I will be at the beach! :)

This is a special baby boy gift tag for my aesthetician who is actually being induced today!

I used all Lawn Fawn products for this tag with the exception of the cloud stencil for the background by MFT and the Fuse tool in-case she wanted to keep the tag as a keepsake.  I Copic colored my images and used some Distress inks on my blades of grass and for my clouds.

I can't wait to hear from her when the baby comes!

Thanks for taking the time!

Christmas in July

Happy Friday crafty friends! Friday = a new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge! This week it is Christmas in July! Almost feels like winter here, has not been the best summer weather so far...

I love Prismacolor pencils on Kraft! So I chose this fantastic mistletoe stamp from the CAS-ual Friday Mistletoe and Holly stamp set. I started by embossing my sentiment from the same stamp set with Ranger red glitter embossing powder. I then stamped my mistletoe with Versafine Onyx black ink repeatadly to create my background. To blend my colored pencils I used Gamsol, I love the effect it gives to the image.  I then used white liquid perfect pearls to make the berries pop, put my card together and topped it off with some red Pretty Pink Posh shiny sequins.

Wplus9 Special Birthday Card

I have not posted in so long, I have been away on a business trip for the last week. I missed my little blog!

This is a special card, I made it for my favourite aunt who turned 70 on July 5 and hasn't been well.  She is a very special lady in my life and she lives in my hometown therefore, I see her maybe once a year.

I used the gorgeous Wplus9 Kind Soul stamp set, the name of that stamp was entirely appropriate and the floral is simply beautiful.  I gold embossed the stamp on Bristol paper and used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  This floral card is very much my aunt.  I topped it off with a Lime Citron sentiment. My family is all french and these nice french sentiments are very hard to find.  If anyone is looking, Lime Citron is a great choice and has a nice selection.

I finished everything off with Pretty Pink Posh sequins!
Thanks for taking the time!
